today was juS great.. dis is the 1st time i went to orchard road since i started mugging for my exams in mid october or later.. the smell of orchard road is juS great.. haha.. bot present for my god sis for her bday which happens to fall on christmas day itself.. spend quite a bit of money cos i brought my sis along wif me to meet van out to shop.. her appetite is juS insatiable... hungry all the time.. gt to buy food for her to eat. VAn bot 2 t-shirts for $20/- at far east.. i'm surprised i din buy anything for myself.. haa.. considering that i'm a infamous spendthrift..
watching spore idol now.. my gosh, they sang "That's wad friends are for" it almost put me to tears.. that songs has always overwhelmed me, its a really touching song.. nOw they are gg to annouce the idol soon.. i'm so so gan chiong now... my heart is pounding so quickly now.. gosh... Guess wad -> expected its a commercial break now.. aiyo.
I was saying taufik's rendition of "me & mrs jonEs" was absolutely fabulous.. it was jus perfect, i've never heard such an emotional song, he's voice was inclined towards the stronger side, whereas slyvester's voice was more on the smooth and hoarse. Sly's version of an jing was as usual wonderful.. He is definitely someone who is highly "marketable" in both the english and mandarin industry... taufik is versatile and very R&B-ish which is good for the market now where there is a proliferation of R&B n soul artistes.. but i muz admit: I'm rooting for SLYVESTER... =)
the show is BACK!!! waiting for the results now.... gan chiong, gan chiong and more gan chiong... haha.. WTH??? Commercial break again after sly n taufik sang a song together.. haha.. This is an obvious trend in all the idol shows regardless of whether its america or spore or else-where...
I'm Saying this again: The show is BACK!! haha.. gurnit singh has promised to release the results this time ard.. i'm sure he will, not much time le wor.. 11pm soon le.. haha... i'm really very gan chiong now, so scared for the both of them.. aiyo.. my heart is pounding.. And the winner is TAUFIK BATISAH!!! oh my.... my my my... he deserves it.. he was a great singer... i'm experiencing mixed feelings now, happy for him and sad for sly.. maybe like clay aiken, slyvester as the first runner up may over take the idol.........
TUes 30/11 -> today was kinDa boring... woke up late and all i did for the entire day was playing games wif our PS the whole day.. i even played street fighter.. cant believe it.. hope it doesnt innoculate the violent streak in me.. haha...
Mon 29/11 -> went out wiF my mom to finD some clothes for my prOm.. lookin back i noW feel tat i'm like WastiNg my $$$ to go fer proM this yr.. haha.. but since i've paid for it, might as well go lor..
suN 28/11 -> WenT out to buy a chriStmas preZzie for my lil sis.. bot her a skirt from OP at $29 after 20% off.. she really know how to burn a hole in my pocket.. really gt to find a job in january le.. if nt my bank account will b DRY...
saT 27/11 -> niNg's birThday.. weNt to a KTV in bedoK to sing songS all we wanted... i kept on picking a mei's songs to sing.. haha.. mf n shirley says that i should join a contest to imitate her.. cos i sound like her.. haha.. i think i dont really sound like her tho.. haha.. mf gt a shock when i sang FIR's song.. she tot she din off faye's singing.. actually i was singing all along.. haha..
anyway.. after that i went to TM wif van to shop for prom stuff.. whoa seh tampines mall was packed wif so many pp.. almost suffocated me sia.. haha... by 7 plus i was almost dead.. the people are killin me and the heels of my shoes are also killing me..
fri 26/11 -> met shirley n fang after their work at orchard to prepare ning's gift.. this was the first time after my exams tat i wrote so much stuff... haha... saw our pictures too.. quite funny la.. brings back a lot of memories, felt so nostalgic.. =) we accompanied shirley up to the area outside takashimaya to get her digi cam fr her bf (who was a basketballer btw) everybody was so freaking tall.. haha.. really felt like a midget then.. haha..
