my my my!!!! 'i'm finally back from my holiday trip to HK n ShenZhen... typically me, i of cos shopped wherever i was given a chance.. u may b wondering y would i say if i was given a chance?? cos the trip was on a tight schedule... bz bz bz sia, visited so many places in jus 5days.. the remaining time was barely enuf to satisfy my shopping habits especially when i knew that HK was a shoping paradise!!!
i took the united Airlines to HK early on the morn 8am. slept for 2 hours at hm b4 i woke up at 2plus to get ready to leave... the airport was really quiet as expected.. who likes to drag themselves to travel at 6am? anyway, beos of my frequent fights wif SIA, i found the UA below my expected std. I was thinking since UA is an american airline, the services should b at least on par or jus slightly below SIA's bt it was like 3 notches or even 4notches below SIA's and that in my ranking chart is nah-ah... not gd at all... firstly there was no entertainment sys for each n every individual passenger. Secondly, they serve chicken rice in the morn!! i mean, that is really not my idea of breakfast... To cut a long story short: SIA= the best!. always the best to moi.. ha
My first day at HK was passed by with checkin in to our tiny hotel room.... almost all hotels are like tat btw, cos the land in HK is really EX!! we roamed around our hotel area for a lil while b4 we headed fr our night tour, wewent to the victoria peak (which was bloody windy by the way) and the madame tussaud. if that is how u spell it.. ibot a pict i took wf david beckham. i muz say i'm like a midget!! haha.. we also went to the night market and had seafood dinner...
SEcond day was spent going for a half daytour.. around HK.. went to mid level victoria peak, victoria habour, place wif lots of temples etc... after that we had lunch then went to ShenZhen took the train dere... like any MTR in HK except its not the MTR.. then checkin to our hotel and had a break.. boy was the hotel room huge... i felt like some royalty sia.. veh big wor... haha.. after dinner, ot tour guide brought us to a street where we can shop till the shops close.. haha
the third day in shenzhen my family and i went to some places of interest in dere.. the xiao ren guo, windows ofthe world where there are almost real monuments of different places in the world.. my lil bro n dad took a pict wif the camel, it was drooling bubbles. haha.... weird la... the place gt 2 shows which we went to watch.. i muz say i was realli awed n amazed, the costumes were great, the IT facilities we like "I never knew u could do tat" they managed to put a fountain undere the stage and open the stage to bring it up when they need it.. i was like wow... the external performance was even better.. they even had real horses depicting war and race... haha... great show... after that went back to the same street to shop again cos the street is long and big.. tat nite was a fruitfl nite, got certain things i wanted and also the thing i din want...... i fell sick.... grrr
i managed to fall sickwif a running, blocked nose, red eyes n cough n not recover till i return all thanks to immense smoking population in Hk n SZ... boy are they fond of smoking, they smoke everywhere even air-con areas.. can die wor, go there die of passive smoking for sure one.. ha.. 4th day, jus had breakfast n we headed back fo HK le, but end up already late afternoon time... went to Ladies market, temple street, the Street behind Prat Ave where our hotel was at... tired but that's wad i like to do.. haha...shop... sounds like we went alot of places but there was not much time.Intended to get at least 2 gifts for my close girlfriends but ended up wif somewif onli 1 and some wif 2, i even had to combine christmas wif souvenir, really guilty... hai.. i haven gt enuff for myself too.. hai.....
the last day was spent at the Ocean Park, we went up to the headland by cable car, and my mom freaked out... haha, she was really scared, obvious from the pict i took.. haha.. we are really fortunate at least we managed to reach the headland our guide told us that the cable car was slower then usual and stopped many times, and the latest was that the cable car service is temporarily suspended due to strong winds..haha... after gg to ome aquariums and dolphin show, went to took roller coaster and the ride that drop pp from like a zillion metres above at free fall. haha, my dad tot i was scared, i was more than excited lor... haha.. like these rides but i hate the viking, i'll get all giddy and nauseas.. haha..... after we returned to our hotel we went to eat at an eatery that the channel U artiste BEN and a Hk actress n actor went. the food was not bad and cheap sia.. haha... after we went to buy the wife biscuits, it was time to go home....
time spent at HK n SZ was really fun, i enjoyed it tremendously... (tho i was ill)
i'm missing Hk and SZ already, love the shopping experience, the roast duck too!!!! haha
