29th dec 2006
Received a few gifts from colleagues. Finished work at 520pm and rushed to carrefour to buy some food. Reached home, bathed, packed a bit more stuff and off to go to the chalet. My 6th aunt and 5th aunt together with their families came for the bbq. So its 3 families. Ate and played for a while until Adrian came.
We ended up chatting till midnight! hurhur. Didnt expect us to have so much to talk about for like 2hrs plus?? ha. Opened the present he gave me on the spot la. Hands too itchy already. Haa. And it was a very lovely water musical globe (see below for the real thing). He also gave me a pillow which he tried now and then to take it from me to hug. bleah. its mine liao loh. hahaha.
30th dec 2006 Prepared the decos alone while my mom wash the car and the rest of my family go fishing. Took me approximately 2hours plus to get all done other than those dun by my mom and sis the previous night.
Shirley was my first guest. Heee. Cos got pp fetch ge ma. haha. Desmond came in next. I asked him over the fone when he called shirley if he is free he can pop by or smtg. But he said he doesnt have present, so shirley ask him to get flower. Then i said 1 stalk of rose. With that 1 stalk he is gg to be the first guy to me flowers. True enough, after 20 mins, he arrived with 1 stalk of flower (the flower bloom very nicely liao). ha.
Guest began to slowly reached but I was instructed by the girls not to makeup until they arrived. So my guess wad they bot cosmetics for me to use. haha. My intuition was right. But I didnt guess that they would get an entire set of Anna sui cosmetics for me. HEEE!!! SO NICE!!!
My worry that there wouldnt be a good turnout was all for naught because alot of pp came. Thanks to jy, fang and yongsheng for encouraging me that everything will be ok. You guys were right. =) Many guests turned up and they are all in the fotos below.
Cake cutting was at 9plus cos I was born at 922pm. hurhur. I refused to cut any earlier. waahaa. But anyway cut cake always that standard time de lah hor?
I wanna esp thank: 1. My parents for sponsoring everything 2. My siblings for getting high with me since we decided to get a chalet to celebrate 3. Adrian for coming all the way to changi chalet just to pass me presents 4. My best darling gfs for everything from gifts to company to even wearing polka dot to match me. 5. Primary sch frens who really take the effort to come, it was glad to see them after 9yrs 6. Nizhen to be the only outstanding sec sch fren tat came (other than fang and teresa) and helped me jaga my hp while it charges 7. The peepz from my JC class that came. You guys are the largest crowd, u all rock!! 8. Clare and yifeng who are the only NBS FOC peepz that came 9. Kiangpeng for coming alone 10. Nat and Andy for waiting for Roland until u guys really got to go (like 1plus 2am??) 11. Dominic trusting me enough to share things with me. plus the really good massage of cos! ha. 12. The good weather
The most important people in my life other than my family. Vanessa, Jieying, Shirley, Ning and Fang. Love u guys so much. The friendship between us will cont for the rest of our lives. People are thankful to have 2-3 best friends. I'm damn fortunate. I have 5. =) I will always treasure u girls. muacks and hugs!!

Below are some gifts that I received on the actual day of my bday itself which is the 30th Dec 2006. This beautiful gift I got, is wad a typical ah bird loves. An entire set of cosmetics from Anna Sui by the closest people in my life, shirley jieying fang & ning (plus roland, lewis & evette). I was specifically instructed not to make up until they arrive becos?? they wanted me to use this entire set of cosmetics on my special night. Really thank u all so much for spending quite a sum on this. I noe its not cheap. Thanks. =) Big thks to jy who like asked the girl for more and more samples. Hee. Love u girls TONS & FOREVER.
Plus a lovely colored Secret Wish pouch. Hoho. Got new cosmetics pouch liao. Needed one like super desperately lah girls. Thanks alot!!! MUACKS MUACKS MUACKS!!!
The item at the top of my wishlist. The classic adidas watch. My best fren dearie van and her bf corn got it for me. They reserved this gift like err months ago. haha. Thanks girl. I'm gonna wear this everyday to school. Hee.
First gift from my nanny. A Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise Perfume. Received her card and felt so nostalgic about it. Miss my nanny alot cos i haven seen her in a long long time. She has always gave me the best.
A van from Noel Gifts stopped at my chalet's entrance. Got a shock when I saw this. Never expected my nanny to buy me another present. This is so nice loh. A bouquet of 50 ferrara roche. I feel like the leading lady in the roche advertisement. NICE!! LOVE IT!!
