today is my godsis' twin... anne's wedding... though she may not ever read this. but i wish her a ig congratulations and blissful marriage. May her life with her husband from thus on is filled with love and joy forever. =)

first was my godsis, nw her fren and i happen to see another of their fren's gown trying fotos.. haa. nt tat there are many pp getting married la. but i'm beginning to think how much should i save for mine?? i recently read on the New paper tat a couple spent approx $24K ++ for their wedding, amongst the cost would include dinner at Ritz for 500 guests.. maybe i can jus kop this figure and start saving or investing for mine own....

lets' expand my budget a little to 30K cos i'm picky and i only want the best.. so if i wanna get married when i'm 26, leaving me with 3.5yrs to save with the inception of my work at mid 2008, i need savings of approximately $714 every month (combined with husband)....

bleah.... if i work at the big 4 and the beginning salary is $2400 after CPF ard $1920, with this kind of savings every month... i'm left with $1206, after tat need to set aside like $550 for parents, grandmas & godma. i'm left with a meagre sum of $656 to pay for bills and personal expenses...

but actually its nt too bad la... $600 is better than nth... as long as i restrain or maintain my current spending habits which is ok. i think i can still have a little little savings. hahaha.... but all tat is gonna take alot of discipline in order for me to have the fairytale wedding of my dreams. =)

p/s: maybe i should rent a rolls royce or limo on my wedding. hahahaha... shiok
