Hey everyone. So sorry for the lack of updates. To make up for it. This is a full entry of my Taipei trip. heh. will be coming up with the KPMG orientation fotos and convocation ones soon. heh. cos really busy at work ah. paiseh.
DAY ONE
Headed to hubby's hse in the early morning. Then we took a cab to the airport. Decided that we should eat first cos our flight was via Jetstar and no outside food was allowed and we din want to eat instant noodles on board. So we headed to T3 to buy my cosmetics and have Lerk Thai for lunch.
Strangely enought, the dessert came first. But who cares, I love sweet stuff the most. Hence I was more than happy when it came.
The mango and glutinous rice with coconut milk was really good.
This one was damn good too. My hubby's fave. But i forgot wad its called.
The glass noodles was ok only. It was too wet.
Chendol was not bad.
by the time we eat finish, we were left with 10mins to get to out gates. Wad a rush.
But we were still damn happy.
Byebye Singapore! Ooo. i can see EXPO! haha.

after watching much SATC and chatting with the old man beside us who stays in Taipei and some napping. Finally we reached Taipei!!!!

Beautiful sunset and Plane... so nice. We were damn hungry by the time we reached. So hubby brought us to have famous ah chung mee sua. SO NICE! Very delicious. Everyone was jus standing ard eating, there were no tables or chairs.

DAY TWO
Woke up early in the morning and decided to go to Taipei 101, so we headed to talk the subway.
And.... marilyn visited me that morning. ahmph!
This is a typical ticketing station, like Singapore. Taipei also uses the tapping system. But the difference is... their "ez-link" looks like this..
Well for those who have permanent cards, they will look like a card. But if u are jus purchasing a trip ticket. It looks like a chip you get in a casino.
Tap it and in you go!!

We headed out of the station and took a shuttle to Taipei 101. Shuttle is a fixed cost. Dont be shy to ask ard in Taipei, cos its really the best and fastest way to help you get ard. People usually are frenly enough to tell you where to go and which bus to take.
I'm damn puny.......
Taipei 101.. where all the branded stuff are. Its like a MAJOR paragon. All the branded stuff u can possibly imagine is inside there. Naturally we din buy anything branded. jus window shopped and drooled.
In the middle of this atruim which is inside the Taipei 101. I bot 3 mags from a bookshop there cos dey were all giving free gifts. heh.
After lunch we proceed to walk more and headed to NYNY which is jus across the street.
There wasnt many insteresting things inside. The toilet was very cold though. Haa. ok. tats random.
AFter that we headed back to the hotel, showered and changed and headed to Shilin Night Market for shopping and dinner.
Some mix seafood thingy. not bad. we also had the orh jian at this store. cos it had all the celebrities' fotos so we reckon it has to been good.
Thats a hell lot of chinese sausages.... this is a must try if you are there. they have this roll that is white, which is actually glutinous rice. they will pack the chinese sausage and put inside the glutinous rice. It looks like a bun after that. very nice!
of cos if u go to shilin, you have to have the authentic. XXL chicken lah!
It was damn hot and big. It wasnt cut up. It is jus a big slab of chicken. delicious!
Shi Lin nite market. After tat we went shopping on the right of this building. Long long streets, with apparels, shoes and even baby pets!!! can die lor. I love the doggy so much la. but i cant bring back. damn sad.
DAY THREE
Look at this and you will nvr believe that I stay in Ximending. I came to taipei surprised cos their daylight is apparently before 5am. And so i tot we were late! but it was actually only 5am when it was already this bright. weird sia.
Thou our view is not great. But our location is fabulous. Its right smack inside ximending and near the train station.
That morning we decided to go to Dan shui.

and we reached. it was warm sia.
before we noe it.... it was time to head back to hotel.
Fruitful trip. hee.
That nite we went to do a bit of exploring. After asking the reception what are the places that we can go at nite. We decided to venture 2 nite markets, shida and smtg else. But shida i think din have much things so we headed to another one which was hustling and bustling with people.
this is the The saltwater chicken that we Q-ed for more than 1hr at that nite market... can die i tell u. and we almost din get it cos there were only 6 freaking chickens left. I almosted wanted to cry. But thankfully we managed to get it. The Q was so damn long, can really die. at least it was nice to eat. if not i will kill myself.
was hungry along the way back and decided to have mcflurry. only taiwan has this absolutely great flavour. Waffle chips and caramel. DAMN NICE LA! why singapore dun have??? walau.
Also bot another dessert on the way back. this was bot along the outskirts of that busy nite market. I still have the cup with me today. haha.
DAY FOUR
went downstairs our place to shop a lil bit. There was this accessories shop.
There has a room and outside is a frame. I look like a protrait right? haha.
No photos for today cos we went to 5 fen pu and shopped until we dropped. haha..
DAY FIVE
Of cos, whats travelling in Taipei, if u have met any celebrities rite?? wE saw....
Hsiao jing teng. the famous guy who sang with amei and make his debut appearance in the xing guang show. And we also saw the wang chuan yi and some other girl. she is a lil mix one. but i dun her name.
We headed to Dan shui again. Cos we need to buy souveniors and local products back for our family.
We got hungry and decided to eat this which can be found at the end of the street. If you go there. It is a MUST TRY, cos its really nice. I had 2 bowls. heh. Its fish ball with meat inside it.
After that of cos we walked. And i ended up at the one and only peter rabbit shop in Taipei. This is one memorable shop cos Peter rabbit is after all one of my fave characters. Then I spent SGD100++ in this shop and I endured DAMN A LOT OF MOSQUITO BITES inside this shop also.
Happy and tired.

This is my fave drink in Taipei. I couldnt stop thinking abt it even when i'm back. Fen yuan tou hua... its pearl and tau huay... really really very very nice..... must try. esp the one at 5 fen pu.
This was wad we bot.
Oyster Jian, Coffin bread (very nice, must try), glutinous and sausage, seafood mix, bee hoon etc. wad a yummy dinner!!
And of cos, this was wad everyone is interested it.. As per request. the number of shoes i bot in that single trip.
10 pairs are mine. and 1 is my godsis's.

The day we have to pack and check out.
Slpy hubby. We were all damn tired after 5 days of intense shopping and eating.
After we checked out. We headed out for lunch at a Jap restuarant. All their food were placed on the cabins on a small train and it would be carried ard the conveyor. but hubby and i had a problem, their menu was on the walls and it was all in chinese. So we din noe wad to order, except I could only pointpointpoint at pp's food to order. haha..
Walked ard our area before we headed back to wait for our airport transfer.
