Freaking Wind

There was a really strong blowing rain last night. As darling was fetching me home after we went for house viewing, as we were walking to the car, the wind was really strong! It has been a long time since I felt so cooling at night amidst the terrible weather recently. As I looked out of the car, fallen leaves that were on the road looked as though they were dancing very quickly and in the same motion together. Further on as we pass a part of the tree fell in the middle of the 3 lane road, occupying 2 out of the 3 lanes. Cars had to maneuver slowly to the only late that was open in order to pass the debris. By the time I reached home, the rain was pouring. Even though there was shelter at my place, it was as good as not being there because I was quite wet after taking less than 10 steps to the void deck. But I definitely had a really good sleep yesterday night. Ha.

Nothing much to blog nowadays. My life's seriously a bore.
Work is... as usual. Quite happy for the past 2 weeks. The team I have been seconded to have been really nice and friendly to me. And of cos, the workload hasnt been a killer too. ha. The peak period is about to be over soon. And it will be officially over for me on 22nd may, as darling and i will be leaving for Sydney that very night. Should be lugging at least 1 laptop over, since i like to stay connected. (I know. its a double edged sword.) After I return, I will be seconded again to other departments for a very very long time... till September or so I reckon.
Anyway, another thing that has been going on and on in my mind is promotion, or rather, progression to G1. As anyone that I have told knows that its probably not gg to be an easy decision for the unit when it comes to me. No one has seriously spoken anything nice about me during round table (I believe). Whether or not I am gg to progressed to the next level is seriously a huge question mark. This progression thing is seriously haunting and freaking me out.
Will be meeting the girls this Sat for dinner at Brewerks, 7pm. Only know that its located at Clarke Quay. I have no idea wadsoever where the heck this place is. hence, i need to meet anyone of you girls first to bring me there. Not a really clarke quay person. Dun really club and haven been clubbing in a long while. Haven been drinking liquor too in a long while, but i have been downing in red wine recently. 50% of the bottle of red wine all by myself. One heck of a drinker..... haa.
Hais. Got to work really hard next wk cos I'm back to my own unit's job and I need to at least prove to 1 senior that I can deliver the work that I have been assigned to (in terms of quality) and dun take MC, work late etc. Have been hearing that other units have staff that are slowly tendering depsite the bad economy. Ugh, I also duno wad to say about this job la.
