Here is the blog post for the impromptu KL trip that darling and I decided to have. We slept at like 2 plus the previous night and woke up at 5am to get ready.
Me + my jabalang at 6am ready to leave. Journey very long, so i'm gg to sleep. hahahaha!! with my chouchou and bol bol. lovely. . . . . . . . . .
Are we there yet?? Finally we reached KL at around 10plus, and needed to look for the first place to eat which is dim sum. But we had some problem locating the place, and even after we have found the place. Parking wasnt easy to find. Messy old roads... And so this is it!
Err address is at home. Ask me again if u want. ha.
Seriously use Google maps first to find the damn place, then manually look for it in GPS. MUCH faster.
Dim sum! Er we had twice of this food. But er I was only obessessed with eating. no picts. heh. The waiter comes around with a huge basket of dim sum and then u just pick wad u want. Prices are counted by the no of metal plates. smtg like sushi bar.
3 layer tea. very nice. very chendol-ish. =) slurps.
And all these for only SGD12. cheap ah!
We walked around that neighbourhood for a while to shop some nonsense (my fave) and then proceeded to Tropicana City which is just a 5min drive away. This place was a random decision cos we saw this mall like along the way to dim sum place. we wanted to buy time before gg to hotel for check in at 2pm. Along the way there was soooooo many Bridal Shops, and their prices were like super uber tempting, like only wad, SGD1k for package? kns..... SG is chop pp money one.
Anyway:
First thing after parking:
Durian egg tart. Very duriany.... ha.
Frutti yogurt that is sold by the grams. cool hor?
Small glimpse of the mall.
Hubby bought a pair of shoes at the mall. I very guai. got nothing. hahaha...
Slightly after 2, we drove to our hotel. The GARDENS!! 5*****. dun pray pray ah!

Hubby checking in...... with er... my bags of rubbish. that white thing on my bag is bit bit! my peter rabbit pillow... okok I brought 4 pillows and 1 bolster there.... dun judge me.. tsk. ha.

After sungei Wang, we headed for seafood dinner. Of cos come Msia must eat seafood riteeee?? Parking at this seafood place is not easy to find. But the variety of stalls sell is... ALOT. Address of restuarant, PM me. Cannot rmb now.
Our orders:
Bamboo Clams. Small plate.
Fave KL Hokkien Mee!!! Duno small/mid size.
calamari fried in salted egg batter. mid size
1/2kg of stingray...
1 coke + 1 coconut + 1 apple juice
All for only SGD30 smtg. Cheap ah!
After dinner we walked back to the car, only to eat somemore. tsk.
Mata Kuching stall, i.e. sea coconut & logan drink.
the one at midvalley for RM2 per cup is much better. haha.
Yes u caught it.... we had ONE durian, which had 8 fruits inside. EAT until wanna die.
very sweet and nice!!
hubby was laughing at how slowly and digustingly I was eating... tsk.. cos very full liao eh.
Went back watched tv and konked out cos hubby was in need of sleep due to waking up early and driving for 4 hours.
Next day, woke up at 10am, nuah abit, pack up in time for check out:

We headed to Mid valley to have lunch and shopping!
DEcided to settle for a Jap restuarant. very waraku-ish. forgot name.
Miso clam soup!
avocado crabmeat salad!
Apple juice with a twist!
Pasta in clam soup!
Hubby's banana smtg drink. very yummy!
My soft shell crab pizza.
Forgot the price but comparable to SG. About 50bucks? but real delish.
So we headed for shopping till like 5pm before we decided to go home.
Old school parking exit. Collect money one..
So we reached home at 9plus. We officially left KL at 6pm cos I left my korean shawl in the hotel room and that episode took like 30mins.. diao....
anyway very happy with this impromptu holiday. =) KL is fun! Wanna go again!!
