The staycation started with Lunch at near Lavender.
This is my fave beef noodle stall. Before my beef kway teow came, had a plate of Hakka Abacus Beads first!
It was yummeh!
er, yummeh enough to get another plate. haha.
Then the noodle came!
My kway teow! Very delish!
Hubby's beehoon.
Accompanied by handmade beef balls. Very chewy and good! tasty too!
hubby enjoying every bite of our lunch. Cheap and good. total $10 only.

BUT I saw THIS!
The bed is only QUEEN sized and not KING when I am entitled to a king sized bed. Immediately called the front desk which they say they have to call me back as they are busy at the moment.

wait until quite dulan so went downstairs to complain. So we had a change of room to to the 35th floor.
up up up again.. nw to 35th floor.
now at our new room.
darling has the honors this time of opening the door.
since there was no premier room with a king sized bed.. we were upgraded to a Club room. wahaha. Thank god!
now this is a king sized bed!
better tv console and work area.
toilet! love 2 basin toilets.

after settling down and then we went out!
Taken while waiting for our free prints to be collected at the Sjora promotion booth. Had drinks for us too! Anyway while hubby went to pick my fmil. I went.... shopping! Some loots.
Diffuser from Italy from takashimaya. Costs $44 after discount. U.p. $48 There is a story behind this. A bottle of this (exactly this), with the reeds in a box costs $79... which.. I was like huh? I can buy exactly the same thing for $48, so why spend the extra money. Which never mind, so i bought this one without the box and the reed. period. then I went on to ask how much were reeds, she said $20smtg. I was like er. ok nvm. not getting. So.. haha. I went to the next booth and picked up a packet of reeds. Cost? $9.90. Haha. so now my set costs only $54 instead of $79. I saved $25. Perfect! can buy another bonito dress. haha.
We were walking towards to Carousel for our dinner when we saw that Marks & spencer has a sale going on and so.. we went in to buy stuff... This porridge was one of the few things we bought...
I also bought SHOES!! oops. Gave in to temptation... cos there was 20% discount. haha... So pretty! Love max. can wear this to work instead of my black or pink flats! finally a nude one!
Ok after the shopping, we are finally at Carousel. My treat for hubby! =) cos its his first time.
The bill came up to $140+, drinks were on the manager, cos he sort of pissed me off the other time during our dept outing. So this time drinks were on him. hahaha...
We went to DFS for a short walk, since we have time before our movie at Cathay at 11.30. Here are some crazy mad ex watches but oh so gorgeous!

After this we went back for our hotel for a short break before going to Cathay to watch Charlie St Cloud. Quite a relaxing movie for a weekend... plus see handsome Zac Efron of cos. Initially i was too tired to watch but already paid for it and so better go.
Woke up the next day to:
A rainy singapore. =) yay...
So we headed for brekkie at triple 3 at level 5.
burp!
After that we went back to the room to sleep for a good 2 hours and then it was 1115am, and we woke up and got ready to check out at 12nn.
After we checked out, we headed to vivo city to collect my gifts from W&T. That will be in another entry. =)
My after thoughts:
The premier hotel room (i.e. the 1st room that we had) was said to be $500+ but seriously it totally looks worse than my 5 star gardens hotel at KL, which we paid like wad? $150 per night. hais. The club room looks the same with better quality stuff, well its better than nothing. so okay... unless like this I dun think I'll ever pay to stay there? hurhur. My next goal is MBS, but if any other hotels sponsors, I'll be happy too. fwahaha....
Started blogging I think before 6pm. Now it's 7pm... wth.. took forever.
