Low: Vote WP so 'power stays with the people'
LTK is a fierce speaker and a lao ah beng that has captured the hearts of the heartlanders in the areas that the WP are contesting.
But I look left, right, up and down. I still cannot see how this man and his party is:
1) able to deliver and bring our Parliament standards to that of "First World" because Hokkien doesnt get you anywhere in communicating with the First World leaders.. they don't understand.
2) able to look after their GRCs because he has not revealed their 5 year plans for Aljunied nor have they done alot of upgrades for Hougang
But issues such as the rising cost of living, housing prices and healthcare costs showed that the PAP has 'disconnected' itself from the people, Mr Low said.
To a certain extent I agree with this statement but he is blindsided to the fact that world prices also have a part to play, rise in cost of living - singapore relies heavily on imports, When the price of a product from overseas increase, the increase in cost will be passed on to consumers locally.
Rise in housing prices - raw materials like sand have increase over the years and true enough the prices even for BTO flats are comparable to resale flats (without cov). Looking at different angles, yes the govt could have set rules when it comes to trading of flats and they could have sold the flats to us just slightly above cost price. (which I will be damn happy) On the other hand, singaporeans being singaporeans will just eat the system, since BTO so cheap, then we ALL go and apply and buy, then we SELL after that with COV. sibei song. So in the end, its us we have to blame.
Rise in healthcare cost - No one want to be nurse. All the doctors like own practice. Singapore got no space. All these reduce the supply and increase foreign talent. If you take econs u will noe a shift in the supply curve will jerk the price up and it cost more to take in / hire foreign talent. Then Singapore the land so small where to build somemore hospital. (take away golf course lah, for christsake its not a sport, its a sprainyourback activity) So everything increase price. And whoever goddamn idea of hospital at the void deck, should just go and eat slugs.
But all these things does not mean that the govt has disconnected from us. It just means that they need better ways to tackle these problems. It's 2 very different things lor.
'I believe that all Singaporeans would have known by now that after every election, when you give a strong mandate to the PAP, they will take the chance to implement... policies to shortchange you,' he said.
I don't think all policies are that pathetic right. Everything he says just goes to extreme and when there are good policies people just think that it is a given and we derserve all this grow and share nonsense and all.
Singaporeans are a really really pessimistic and selfish bunch of humans. We want this. We deserve this. It is our right. Ya if you born in north korea, see you got rights or not...

The 24-year-old, who is contesting in Marine Parade GRC, said she was saddened when the mother said she could not get help to fund her son's $80 tuition fees. Worse, when the mother sought help, she was chided for the small amount. Pausing to compose herself, she then told the crowd at an open field next to Chinese Garden Lake: 'This is the kind of problem we have. We need a government who has a heart for Singaporeans.'
On Thursday night, the MacPherson Zone B Residents' Committee clarified that the resident had asked to refund a tuition deposit of $80. It said in a statement: 'We understand that the resident withdrew her child from attending classes, without notice.'
Her story and tears are so far from the truth. OMG. How will anyone be able to believe what ever she does? Plus her being in a PR person of cos knows what to say and do to gain votes and pity votes....
Anyway, NSP manifesto is also very national level. So what you want to do for Marine Parade GRC??? Duno~~~~~~ Which anyway i dun care la. cos I gg to move out soon.
What is the common thing between Nicole and LTK?? They like to exploit Singaporean's anger to gain votes with only plans at National Level and no plans for GRC level.

I have already said alot in my previous entry. The rest is up to the Aljunied GRC residents not to screw up their lifes and vote because they just want change and any kind of change. So they dun care. And they vote opp cos they dun like PAP.
For people who are gg to move out of Aljunied GRC after they vote, I hope they dun fuck my life up in the next 5 years. I hope to see GY at my door and not LTK. TQVM. Period.
