Happy Bestie Day

My bestie has got to be the most generous person in the world ever. Knowing that I could be a little financially tight to give myself a break from the wedding and housing prep, she treated me to lunch and massage plus scrub as part of my wedding gift! (everybody: awwww...) And so we decided to set out a day to be bestie day, hence 23/06 will hence become bestie day where we will take time off to pamper ourselves silly and be happy and relaxed.


That was on the way to bishan park while we were on the bus. Feels like we are back in school or something. ha. very nostalgic.



First up! Lunchie...


We had lunch at this place called canopy, its located just beside the spa.




The place has a nice ambience and you can almost feel that its a prelude to the spa already.

kinda looks like a typical anniversary photo... hey wad can I say? This is my first marriage you know! ahem....

Salad, scrambled eggs and bacon. Bestie's.



After lunch and a good talk, we headed to spa!! mad excited lar.... its be A G E S since I last went okay.

And so after that we went into the venue of the spa....






I have never been to a garden spa ever ever before! This place is like a sanctuary outside the typical singapore. absolutely green and you feel luxurious without doing anything yet!


That's a pretty and quirky toilet. I was brought to explore the toilet by bestie........




A W E S O M E . . .


After we changed into our robes, we headed to a place like a hall/living room where we had some ginger tea....


spacious and Zen.... very nice.




Ok but before I could drink my tea at all, my therapist came to bring me away liao.. gua gua gua... and so she carried my tea and off we went...



bestie went for her massage and facial, while I went for scrub and massage.

This is my room! on the left is the open area shower, which I tried on after my scrub. It's a very special experience, one of a kind. The therapist was really nice, she added extra massage moves from other types of massages to try and relieve the tension on my shoulders.... its was kinda painful but after that the entire massage felt so good. I fell aslp on and off, which is quite rare for me during massages. So tis proves that its g o o d.




After the massage we got changed, drank tea and head out to serangoon where bestie then went kovan and I went back home before heading out for gown fitting again.



Anyway, so much about the spa experience. If you like it, should be able to google it easily. It's a nice place to try out. But wat I really want to say is that what I feel very fortunate to have jieying as my best friend ever. We gtalk everyday and we still have so much to say to each other the next day. We can tell each other everything and anything. We tell each other that we are gg to pee or shit and we wont feel that its oversharing. We can be very honest with each other and yet knowing the other person will not bear any grudges against the other. She was there for me whenever I needed her, breakup, crying, tok cock, shopping, proposal, gown fitting blah blah. I was there when she needed me, phonecalls, packing house, unpacking house, gown fitting blah blah blah.


There's so much to say but one thing for sure is that I love my best friend, Jie Ying.. xoxo! <3
