Being thankful

Slowly but surely, things are getting done.



The wedding shoot was just over last week and we will be able to choose the photos we want this sat evening. Even the wedding invites are also ready for collection today.



M hotel kinda threw me a surprise that the protrait will not be available, so it will be changed to dinner for 2. Oh well, that would be good also, not like people wont get enough of my face that night. It will be e v e r y w h e r e. lol. The surprise part was that if I didnt call them, she wont tell me. like???? tell me before hand can? what if I'm a bride that is really p a r t i c u l a r?



There are of cos quite a tons of things left to do such as preparing items for Guo Da Li, Guestbook, trial makeup, montage, wedding car, music, adrian's tie, tying of wedding favors... and the list goes on. just that I cant remember them now.



On housing matters, we are approaching our 2nd appointment, hopefully we would have also engaged an ID and/or contractor to do our reno works by then, so that they can apply to HDB for the necessary hacking works. reno is expected to start on 26th Sept and move in is hopefully 1st Dec. 1012.. also like 2011 (play with 4D too much). [2011 is really our number, coincidentally my birthday is also similar 3012]



attending my first ever baby shower this sunday. Think we will be buying NTUC vouchers, so that the parents will have money to buy diapers and formula milk! practical gift... besides the child doesnt do anything but eat sleep poop, so our vouchers are really handy.



Bestie says it has been a great year for me. I would have to agree with her, what's not getting a promotion compared to all the other blessings I have so far?



Like my CFO says, "I believe that when we cultivate a thankful spirit, we are less prone to taking things for granted, less prone to comparing and complaining, and can handle troubles and crisis with better perspective. "



I must start cultivating this thankful spirit.
