Another milestone for us

yay we finally bought the shell of our home! We are officially owners starting 22/8/2011. All it merely took was 5mins at HDB. -_-''' to sign 2 papers, pay pro-rated property tax and that was it! so fast.


I have also confirmed the renovation works with our ID/contractor to begin renovation on 26th Sept (ex-owner moves out on 21st Sept) and the projected timeline for completion will be 11th Nov (11/11/11 omg good date lor). If so we will prepare to move in on 14th Nov (auspicious day) for 3.5 days in a row, then the rest of the week will be to prepare for the wedding!


Whilst the place is being renovated, I really have to be diligent and prepare all the necessary things for the wedding, so that when the house is ready I can move in peace knowing that everything else has been taken care of. Me knowing me, I think I can do it all.


My only worry is that me being me I will be so into the packing,moving, unpacking and doing so much, that I forget to rest. I definitely don't want to look like a zombie bride. ha. better do mask while i'm packing and moving, blocks dust and moisturise facial. Perfect!


But of cos during this time, I'm also working and the company is undergoing a major change in our financial system. Being one of the managers from the revenue team, I have been warned that I may need to stay over during weekends to help complete this implementation. ugh. sibei sian.


Anyway, wedding matters at the hotel has also been settled, except for number of guests attending the rom and banquet, soft copy of 2 wedding protraits, preparing wedding favors. And yes, we have not file for our marriage yet, we are at the mercy of our solemnizer, who will only allow us to file the marriage after we have met with her


Till then, pray hard for me that I have the strength and finances (and still have the beauty) to get past 2011. Huat ar!
