2011 has been on an overall a good year. Time flew by and there so many things has happened, so many lessons to learn and so many people to be thankful for. Here's a look back at some events that happened in 2011.The first most important people are my family. We thoroghly enjoyed a family vacation in Jan this year. The 6 of us had lots of fun, travelling without them is never the same. I'm thankful for everything everyone in the family has done for me and also for adrian for our house and the wedding and this includes my extended family as well, jie, xyy, godma, iskee etc.
We also celebrated Vivie's 2nd birthday in Jan. This smelly girl is getting nottier by the day and still ever as cute. Hopefully one day she will be less fiesty. Love her to bits.
March marks CAG's financial year end. It also marks my first anniversary with CAG! which also translates to my first bonus received as well. Thankfully, God was good this money came in good time to allow us to buy our very own love nest. =)
There 2 persons in the family who turns 21 this year. Welcome to adulthood mich and ah ngai! Both events were crazy enjoyable. Purple theme and uniform theme respectively.
Well I couldnt get any luckier by balloting 6 tickets for National Day this year. Wasted 1 tix cos my father was a lazy bum bum who didnt want to go. tsk him.
Adrian and I had 2 photoshoots in total this year. One from Di Gio, the other with Inspiration Photography's ex photographer. Photoshoots are really really tiring, got to smile non stop and take photos non stop and walk non stop in 5 inches is no easy feat. But looking back at all my picts, I wouldnt mind doing all over again.
In the meantime, the house was crazily under renovation. Of cos we burst our budget, but it was worth every single penny. We received lots of compilments for the house and we are very thankful for people who have helped us along the way of the reno and the move in.
Grandma turns 80 this year too! May she live long and prosper! haha.
Ning got married this year. She is the most relaxed bride I have ever encountered in my life! Cool as a cucumber during her wedding. haha. One of hubby's good friend Jin yuan got married this year as well. Victoria also turned 8 this year. Iskee held a barbie themed birthday party and naturally the people in the family are the only ones who looked like they fitting the theme. Gua, we look damn funny. Baby Shania turned 1 this year. Love love love this little girl! She is so independent and cute max! Back at office, we had CAG's first D&D. I'm very thankful to be able to work in one of my favorite places in the world, the airport. And my colleagues are all super nice people!
Received really great news one fine sunday morning. =) I will never forget this day, it was the start of my journey to becoming a godmother. Hello lil pea my godchild.
Had a photoshoot with the girls to commemorate our 10 years of friendship. Shirley couldnt make it as she was out of town. Hopefully we'll all be able to take another photo together. Yes I know I owe you girls the photo, will make a copy and pass to you girls soon!
Had a most fantastic hen's night. Thanks to xyy, jie, mich, jieying, estelle, ning, shirley and fang. Though I manage to keep my sanity, I was very high and It was the first time I merlioned after clubbing. How can anyone drink so many things in a span of 2 hours? Even my body cant digest it into pee to purge it out and had to go out by puking. ha.
The most important day of my life in 2011 has got to be 20.11.2011. This is the day I changed from Miss to Missus. I got the wedding I've always wanted packed with 4 gowns, 3 pairs of shoes, lots of love, so many photos and tons of love and well wishes from everyone who are important to us. It was perfect. 2 short weeks later, hubby decided to have a housewarming in a bid to drive me nuts. I had to cook and entertain. Very tired leh. On the same day, we also gave my mom a surprise. All of us in the family were dressed in green cos it was my mom's fave color! Everyone was super onz!
Held 2 xmas gatherings at home. 1 with the girls and the other for my kpmg friends
On Xmas day itself, went for Iskee's house warming and rushed home to make cupcakes for Jie's surprise.
Today, as I am writing this entry, I jus want to say Happy Birthday to Ms Elyzabeth Cheah aka me myself and I. It is my 1st birthday as Mrs Teh and I don't think anything has changed except for my age and possibly my weight. haha.
Unlike when I was a kid, I've always wished for material things or great academic results. But as I grow older, the only thing I've increasingly I've ever wanted was for the people around me to be safe and happy and to stay with me.
I'm leaving for Taipei tomorrow to countdown. May 2012 be as great if not more fantastic than 2011. God bless everyone (family, new friends, old friends) and may we never forget the people whom we love who are no longer with us today.
